We believe God is currently at work seeking to save and restore humanity through His Son Jesus Christ and His Church. Compass Church has many Christ-focused passions. But one of our greatest passions is to collaborate with other like-minded followers of Jesus in the area of outreach and service to the world we live in. Below is a grouping of some of our in-house ministries as well as our closest friends who are changing the world for Jesus. We encourage you to investigate and support these ministries. Let us all be about growing the Kingdom of Heaven for Eternity.
Ascent Student Ministry
We all live in a world seeking to turn students away from God and toward a life immersed in vanity and selfishness. At Compass, we believe that our middle to High School youth are loved by God, and He has wonderful plans for their lives. We are dedicated to teaching and guiding our students to know God and make Him known worldwide. We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM for games, food, and small group Bible teaching and discipleship. See you all in September 2024! Have a great summer break.
Compass Serve
We believe that God created every person in His image and that every person has value and a need for God. It is our desire to represent Jesus to those who are in difficult places. So that they can experience the family of God in a very real and powerful way.
Compass Kid's
Compass is a place made up of families who are seeking to know God more every day and to share God's truth with their children so that they can follow Jesus. We currently serve children from preschool to 5th grade through teaching on Sunday mornings from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Our preschool curriculum is from Life Church Bible Adventure Curriculum. Our elementary curriculum is from Superbook Academy.
Eukarya Christian Academy
Eukarya is a private, non-denominational Christian academy in the surrounding Winchester area of Stephens City, VA. Founded in 2010, our school offers full or part-time enrollment for Kindergarten through Twelfth grades. Eukarya Christian Academy exists to help students thrive and enjoy learning in a unique school environment, with a Christ-centered focus. We are innovative in that we combine the best of what traditional learning, homeschooling, and tutoring offers. We excel at reaching the child who has struggled and perhaps fallen through the cracks. Our team also works with students who want to get ahead in a particular subject or are academically gifted overall. Our job is to help each student grow to reach their full, individual potential.
